ARTifact Malaysia
Welcome to the ARTifact Malaysia chapter! Here, we celebrate the rich cultural heritage and vibrant artistic traditions of Malaysia through the performing arts. Our chapter embraces Malaysia’s diverse cultural landscape, incorporating elements from Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous traditions. From traditional dance forms like Mak Yong and Bharatanatyam to the contemporary sounds of Malaysian pop and fusion music, we aim to highlight the unique blend of cultural influences that define Malaysia’s artistic identity.
Chapter Leader: Miriam Lee
Hi! My name is Miriam Lee, and I live in Malaysia. I’m excited to work with ARTifact to discover and gain insight on new cultures as well as different forms of art. Ever since I was a child, I was always immersed in the world of arts, drawing and painting to express my thoughts and feelings. I’m thrilled to be granted this opportunity and learn new things along the way!!
