ARTifact Canada
Welcome to ARTifact Canada! Here, we use the performing arts to honour Canada’s rich cultural heritage. By blending Indigenous traditions with contemporary dance, music, and theatre, we reflect the nation's multicultural spirit. Our chapter aims to foster unity and appreciation for the rich cultural landscapes that make Canada unique, enriching both local and global communities through artistic expression.
Chapter Leader: Ridley McLeod
Hello! My name is Ridley McLeod and I’m a grade 10 student from Vancouver island, Canada. Art has always been a way of living for me. I grew up with two performers as parents and was always surrounded by so much creativity. I joined my first official dance class when I was 3 and haven’t stopped since. Dance is not the only art that I do and love. I also act - both on screen and on stage, I sing, draw, write music and poetry, and I love photography and film. I can’t wait to share and relate my love for art with all of you!

"I'm not gonna fall. I'm tired of falling. I'm tired of seeing our people fall. I don't believe in failure. It's what we put in our minds and our hearts to succeed. And success isn't about money. Success isn't about the biggest house in the world. Success is about loving your family, taking care of your child."
